Over 90 emplyoees at two locations and plenty other international partner-companies are organizing and coordinating all logistic services. Every year over 105.000 tons of goods are being transported to their place of delivery just in time around the globe.
Management
The Lustenau forwarding company has been jointly managed by Lothar Scheffknecht and Barbara Scheffknecht-Iser since 2006. After the retirement of the long-time owner and managing director Walter Scheffknecht, the new generation is accompanying the company into the future.

Branch St. Gallen
The St.Gallen branch was opened in 1989 in order to be able to offer even better local logistics services to Swiss customers. At the end of 2013 we moved to our new office building in Gossau.

Geschichte
Eduard Scheffknecht founds a haulage company. In the beginning, all kinds of goods are transported with horse-drawn vehicles.
Foundation of the international forwarding company Scheffknecht Transporte GesmbH. The divisions of sea and air freight as well as truck transport are set up and established. At the same time, a branch office is set up in Hamburg.
Scheffknecht is appointed IATA agent. New business premises are acquired in Bahnhofsstrasse, Lustenau. This is followed by an increase in staff and expansion of truck traffic.
Establishment of the branch in St.Gallen, Switzerland. The purpose is to handle courier services, logistics, warehousing, customs formalities and the organization and handling of air freight.
With Systempo, a 24-hour system traffic with shipment tracking via the Internet, a new, future-oriented technology is finding its way into Scheffknecht.
The Scheffknecht Transporte GesmbH. celebrates the 40th year of its existence. AIS fleet management is introduced in the anniversary year. As a sign of sustainability, a photovoltaic system is installed on the roof of the company headquarters. In addition, a high-performance warehouse logistics system is introduced.
